Using Commands
How to utilize the built in commands within Pixel Administration.
This requires you to be whitelisted inside of the game with Pixel Administration.
In order to even access and run your commands, you can simply press the Quote (') key in-game with Pixel Administration running. You can tell if it's running by checking if you have the Pixel Administration button toggle at the top center of your screen.
After you press the Quote key, you'll see a command bar. It should look like this:
You can type in commands in here just like any other admin system like Adonis, and you'll see the suggestions as usual.
What are the Potential Benefits?
The difference with Pixel Administration is that it has command icons (all icons provided by Fluency Icons) for each command. I've personally never seen a feature like that before, and it's nice for the eyes when you have something visual to look at. You can also control the selected suggestion by just using the arrow keys (UP and DOWN). You can autofill that selected suggestion by pressing TAB or ENTER on your keyboard.
Pixel Administration also has optional arguments. You can find an optional argument in the command bar when the argument name enclosure is in square brackets ([]). Required arguments will be in angle brackets (<>).
This is a more straight forward and self-explanatory feature, but Pixel Administration will also tell you if a command will run on the server, or client.
How does this combat against Exploiters?
Pixel Administration has multiple safeguards in place that will check if the user attempting to run a command with a proper whitelist. In the event that an exploiter tries to run a command via a RemoteEvent, the server will do its best to check for security violations, and suspicious activity overall, and the game's developers can check the Pixel Administration logs in that game to check who tripped the safeguard, and the reason for the kick.
Pixel Administration will also check for command automation right as soon as a player joins in case a whitelisted user did get hacked, and it also has a rate limit check that will also detect quickly executed commands that can only be done by an exploiter.
And there's much more security behind this. Therefore you shouldn't see any problems with this admin panel more exploiter wise. If you find any security problems/suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Pixel Studios. Your feedback helps us improve.
